The PAL Sports and Recreation Dept. would like to congratulate Joel R of the 1st Pct. team(gray) and Bryan R. of Midtown South team (blue) for being named Player of the week in the first week of Senior Division league. Joel played Quarterback for his team and led them to a victory in week 1 over Asser Levy team. Joel passed for two touchdowns and made some good plays on defense as well. Queens South Flag Football Player of the Week: Week 2

The Sports and Recreation Dept. would like to congratulate Johlana T. from the 101pct Sorrento center team on being named Player of the Week. Johlana plays in the 9-11yr old division and this week she scored three touchdowns for her team and was credited for 12 tackles (flag pulls). Her coach says Johlana is a great team leader and she's always motivating her teammates win or lose.

Queens North Player of the Week Junior Division: Week 2

The PAL Sports and Recreation would like to honor Camille T for her play in week 2 as the QB for her team. She showed a great display of accuracy on her throws in both games her team played in. She also was able to show a strong arm and delivering throws well over 15yards. She showed great sportsmanship to teammate who dropped some of her passes and she was able to lead her team to a lot of scoring drives at QB.
