The Cop of the Week and Player of the week for Queens South

In Week 2 of the PAL Cops & Kids Basketball: Queens South Division, Player of the Week honors goes to Joseph Graham and PO Frantz Chauvet. Graham scored 11 points, yet dominated the boards as a key, unstoppable inside post presence for TD 33 in a highly-competitive 44-39 win over YSD. As a 2016 graduate of August Martin High School in Jamaica, NY, Graham was a reliable 3-sport, 5-team athlete playing Varsity Baseball, Jr. Varsity & Varsity Boys' Basketball, and Jr. Varsity & Varsity Football during his 4 years. Graham steadily improved as a basketball player averaging 12 ppg & 10 rpg as a sophomore in Jr. Varsity Boys' Basketball, 9.89 pts & 10.22 rpg as a junior and 11.81 ppg & 14.50 rpg as a senior in Varsity Boys' Basketball.


PO Frantz Chauvet of Transit District 33 receives Cop of the Week for Queens South. As a steady influence for his team, PO Chauvet played high basketball for Holy Cross High School in Flushing, NY and was 2010 college graduate of Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, NY.
