Player of the Week:

Lovell Glenn (#9 green) earns "Player of the Week" honors with a contribution of 15 points in a victory for Brooklyn North's Youth Strategies Division team defeating Queens North's 115th Precinct team in a highly-spirited and entertaining game, 70-61, to advance to the PAL Cops and Kids Basketball Citywide Championship Final. Glenn is currently a senior attending Bushwick Community High School in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY. In his junior year on the varsity boys' basketball team at Bushwick Community High School, Glenn averaged 14.08 points per game and 9.62 rebounds per game in 13 regular season games and improved his output in his senior campaign with an average of 19.44 points per game, 6 rebounds per game, and 2.56 assists per game in only nine regular season games. Prior to attending Bushwick Community High School, Glenn attended Frederick Douglass Academy VII High School in Brownsville, NY where he played both the small forward and power forward positions and averaged 17.55 points per game and 10.64 rebounds per game in 11 regular season games as a sophomore on the varsity boys' basketball team. Glenn's favorite athlete is James Harden and favorite team is the Houston Rockets. In his spare time, Glenn's favorite music artist to listen to is 22Gz, favorite movie to watch is Friday, and loves to eat pizza.
