The Bronx are crowned The 2017 Cops and Kids Flag Football Champions!

The Cops and Kids Citywide Championship took place on Thursday night. The two teams showed up and put on one of the best flag football championship games in Cops and Kids history. The game was by far the most competitive game of the year. Both teams came into the game undefeated and with their eyes on the prize. The game was back and forth with both the Bronx and Brooklyn scoring on their first possessions. Brooklyn had a chance to seal the deal in the 4th quarter but a late game interception by the Bronx

2017 PAL/NY Jets One Day Flag Football Clinic

The Registration is now open for all Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Bronx residents who would like to sign their child up for the one day clinic. Registration is available for the first 150 participant that signs up per each borough. The first clinic will be held in the Bronx on Saturday, November 18th at the turf field of West Bronx Recreational Center from 8:15am-3pm. Giveaways and medals will be handed out to the lucky participants.

2017 PAL/NY Jets Cops and Kids Championship Junior Division

The Sports and Recreation Department held a four team flag football tournament at the NY Jets practice facility in partnership with the Cops and Kids Flag Football program. The tournament included four borough champions and the winner of the tournament would be awarded an opportunity to play in the NFL Flag Football Championships at the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The Manhattan North borough champions defeated the Queens South Borough champions in the finals to win the automatic bid to the Championships.

PAL Cops and Kids/ NY JETS Flag Football is back for another year. The 9-14 Division registration is open now for interested participants. This year we are introducing Clinics for each borough to begin the season, the clinics will be held during draft week. Make sure you sign up for the correct borough and be on the lookout for the location and times of the clinics.
