Guess What…… The Police Athletic League Street Games series is BACK and BETTER! What is the PAL Street games you may ask? Well PAL Street Games is a twist on our highly respected Playstreet summer camp. The Sports Department reached out to our partnership with the NYPD and selected different MAP locations in the five boroughs and provide a safe space for the kids in the community to play alongside NYPD and people in the community and enjoy themselves for the day. PAL Street Games also provides friendly music from our in-house DJ, DJ BKNY, and we also bring out our double Dutch crew who puts on a show. We conclude Street Games with our three on three tournament bringing spectators and fans out their seats, this is an event you don’t what to miss. We also provide other activities including Dodgeball, Giant Connect Four, giant inflatables, Giant Jenga and more for the younger kids and those who just don’t want to play basketball that day. Also, by continuing to practice social distancing and safety measures we also provide free mask, hand sanitizer, gloves and more for those in the community at our sanitizing station. The pass two weeks our staff made an appearance at Polo Grounds, St. Nicholas Houses and New South Bronx Center for a day of fun. So be on the lookout because we might come to a community near you and you don’t want to miss it.
